Povela Veukataraju, his brother Timmaraju, Siirya-
narayanendra, Kumara Kalaparaju. the brave Nagareddi, and
Cappalli Siddanna were taken prisoners. The troops that
offered resistance were cut to pieces, and the survivors took to
flight. Among those that fled, the following chiefs are
mentioned:—

4.    Yirapayya.
5.    Vadiyappa.

The Padaividu forces disappeared; and the pride of
Nelltpatta chief was broken; Vej£iraja who was aot able to
flee with the palaigars died like a mad man; Nalakota Cennappa
Krsnappa lost his life in some tmkixaw^ place
